Sale of Commonwealth Choice Plans To
"Contributing Employers" to be Phased-In

Beginning May 1, 2007 Commonwealth Choice "Seal of Approval" products will be
available to non-group individuals and families and employers who establish
Section 125 Plans (for tax advantaged purchase of insurance) but do not
contribute to their employees insurance.

Availability of Commonwealth Choice plans to employers with 50 employees or
fewer, who contribute to their employees' insurance will be phased in at a
later date. Contributing employers may continue to obtain coverage through
traditional channels.

In addition to quoting "Seal of Approval" products, Commonwealth Choice
customer service representatives will be able to review eligibility
requirements, benefit summaries, provide fulfillment material and enroll
eligible employers and their employees.

A new Section 125 handbook, and information on Section 125 Plans, are available
through the Commonwealth Health Connector website,
www.mahealthconnector.org.

Also available May 1 through the Connector Authority are Young Adult Plans for
young adults ages 19-26 who do not have access to employer-sponsored insurance.

Commonwealth Choice Broker training and credentialing will begin in late May.
